Placed about 325km South East from Seoul, Pusan is Korea’s 2nd biggest city. High speed railway takes you to Pusan in about 2.5 hrs from Seoul. The hospital hosts 1,350 in-patient beds across 31 medical and dental departments. In 2016, Pusan National University Hospital received 1st rating from the Ministry of Health and Welfare assessment conducted across all categories. Especially, its ‘trauma center’ and ‘respiratory disease center’ as well as ‘cancer center’ are specialized centers designated by Korean government to provide the best care for residents in the region. To provide convenient service for international patients, the hospital opened International Health Center in 2012. The center provides comprehensive one-stop service from registration to consultation from one place as well as translation service as necessary.
