Samra earned her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from Fatima Jinnah University, Pakistan in 2009 and continued her studies to earn her Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology from Riphah Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, Pakistan. She is a member of the Pakistan Association of Speech Language Pathology. She has 5 years of experience and expertise in assessing, evaluating and treating children diagnosed with a variety of speech and language disorders within the school systems and clinical setups. She has worked with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, fluency disorders, Downs Syndrome, articulation disorders, and early language delays in English, Urdu and Hindi. Her experience has allowed her the opportunity to work with numerous disabilities leading her to have a broad knowledge base.
Samra has great interest in research with regard to Speech and Language. Samra prepared and presented her research article on Efficacy of Parental Intervention using the PCIT Approach in Pakistan at the First National Conference of Communication, Voice and Swallowing Disorders, held in Pakistan.
Samra possesses excellent skills in developing and maintaining relationships with her clients and their parents. She is very dedicated to her profession and cares deeply about her clients. She possesses the qualities needed to be an excellent speech and language pathologist such as being skilled in her area of expertise, professional, proficient, kind, patient and client-focused.
Samra has received certifications in the following essential programs related to speech and language therapy:
HANEN program “It Takes Two to Talk” for Parents of Children with Language Delays (based in Canada);
HANEN program “Learning Language and Loving it” to train, coach, or consult to other educators (based in Canada);
LIDCOMBE Program-An early intervention behavioral treatment for young children who stutter (based in Australia); and
Makaton program which is a language program using signs and symbols to help people to communicate. It is designed to support spoken language and the signs and symbols are used with speech, in spoken word order (based in the UK).

Samra Hussain is an incredible speech language pathologist. She has helped my daughter so much, and I am very grateful for all her work. I would highly recommend Samra, as she is not only highly professional, but she is also very kind and caring towards my child.
