Dr. Manal Gerges earned her MBBCh degree from Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University, Cairo Egypt in (1989). She finished her Masters Degree in Audiology at Cairo University on (1996).
Dr. Manal worked in Cairo University as Resident Audiologist for 2½ years and joined Naser Institute in Cairo as Senior Audiologist. She worked in Sharjah Humanitarian Services as Senior Audiologist for 3 years (1999). Dr. Manal is a Senior Physician Audiologist and Head of Audiology Department of Al Zahra Hospital for the last 14 years.
Dr. Manal’s expertise is in ASSR, Speech threshold and recognition discrimination testing. Cochlear and Retro cochlear Functional tests, Central Audiology Assessment, Tympanometry & Acoustic Reflex measurement, Auditory Brainstem Response, Evaluation of Balance system, VNG, post urography, Hearing and Middle ear Screening of School-age children, Neonatal screening program, and Cochlear Implantation in adult and children (Advanced Bionics, MED-EL and Cochlear).
