Dr. Shahriyar Azad is a European Board-Certified Specialist Otorhinolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon, who provides advanced ENT services at SHEIKH KHALIFA MEDICAL CITY ABU DHABI. Dr. Shahriyar completed his masters degree in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in India and was awarded European Board ORL-HNS fellowship at Vienna, Austria. Before joining Prime Medical Center, he was a part of the prestigious Apollo Hospitals Group, where he worked at the state-of-the-art ENT and Cochlear Implant Center of excellence at New Delhi, India. His work experience at King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, one of the largest tertiary care ENT and Head and Neck Oncology Institutes in MENA region, added further value to his expertise in dealing with comprehensive ENT, thyroid and head and neck disorders.
Academically, Dr. Shahriyar has many case reports and paper presentations at several national and international forums to his credit. He is also a member of ENT-UK, the British Society of Otology (BSO), and the Head and Neck Society-UK (HNSOC). Moreover, he is a fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology and holds a life time membership of the Association of Otorhinolaryngologists of India (AOI). With around a decade of training and practice in Otorhinolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery, Dr Azad holds certifications from the Dubai Health Authority, European Board, Saudi Commission of Health Specialties and the Medical Council of India.
