Dr Hadi worked as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Clinical Director for CAMHS in Buckinghamshire for twenty years having completed his specialist higher training in Child and Adolescent psychiatry in Bath and Swindon. He graduated in medicine from Baghdad University.
Dr Hadi has a wealth of experience assessing and treating children and young people with mental health problems. He has a special interest in behaviour disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). He uses a variety of therapeutic modules including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), systemic family therapy and individual therapy. Over twenty years of experience as a Consultant, Dr Hadi has developed an expertise in the appropriate use of medications for ADHD, autism, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, depression, psychosis, bipolar illness, tic disorders and sleep difficulties.
Working closely with teachers, school counsellors, paediatricians, psychiatrists, family doctors and other professional teams is an important part of Dr Hadi’s clinical work.
Dr Hadi is passionate about his clinical work and always putting the best interests of the young people and their families first. His aspiration is to offer quality care by listening to and engaging his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
