Dr. Khalid Alawadi is a German Board certified plastic surgeon (Fachartz) with almost 15 years of experience in the field of surgery and plastic surgery. He is board certified in plastic surgery from the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS), as well as Board certified in hand surgery from the Federations of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH). Dr. Alawadi has published numerous articles in his field and presented at several international conferences.
He is a member of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (DGPRAC), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the Emirates Medical association (EMA), as well as American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM). Dr. Alawadi was recently elected by the Emirates Plastic Surgery Society as board member. He is a national delegate of the United Arab Emirates in the International Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Society (IPRAS).
Dr. Alawadi has extensive experience in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery as well as in hand surgery. His main interest is body contouring, and facial cosmetic surgery, as well as non surgical contouring of the face (botox, filler). As a board certified hand surgeon, Dr. Alawadi has vast experience in hand injuries as well as soft tissue and joint deformities of the hand. He performs most of his surgeries as day cases which enables the patient to go home on the same day.
