Dr. John Samuel finished his MBBS in 1993 from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai and his MS in ENT in 1999 at Madras Medical College, Chennai, India. Dr. John has over 19 years of experience in the field of ENT including 5 years of service on the Army Medical Corps Hospitals and 11 years of service in Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute.
Dr. John worked as a Medical Officer in multispecialty hospital from 1995 and thereafter did his general practice till 1998. In 1999, he served in the Army Medical Corps and worked in Military Hospitals as Sepcialist ? ENT. In 2004, he worked as an Assistant Professor in ENT and thereafter as an Associate Professor in ENT till 2015. He has also worked as a Senior Consultant in ENT in Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai, India where he was incharge of Voice Lab including performance of Videostroboscopy for assessment of voice in close co-ordination with Speech Pathologist. In 2016, he moved to the UAE and continued his medical practice as a Specialist ? ENT in a government hospital in Al Ruwais, Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Samuel has attended trainings and publications in many international and national forums. He has been invited as a guest lecturer in various programs. To his credits, he has received award for a paper competition at the 7th Annual Conference of Association of Phonosurgeons of India in 2011. He has also been awarded the ?Professor K K Ramalingam Medal? for practicing ENT Surgeon at the 18th Annual Tamil Nadu State AOI Conference in 2015.
