Dr. Ehab Shehata has more than 29 years of skillful experience in the field of orthopedic, trauma, pediatric orthopedics, sports medicine, total joint arthroplasty across various countries such as Germany, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. He is a qualified Orthopedic Surgeon from Germany & Egypt. He has performed more than 5000 complex orthopedic cases across the globe.
He holds a PhD in Orthopedics (Total Joint Arthroplasty) from the reputed Regensburg University, Germany. He has an MD in Orthopedics from Tanta University, Egypt. He also has a Clinical Fellowship in Joint Arthroplasty and Sport Medicine from Regensburg, Germany.
He has represented his skills in more than 70 international orthopedic conferences and has supervised and taught many young doctors, the new advances in the field of trauma and arthroplasty procedures.
Dr. Ehab has also served as a Professor of Joint Replacement & Pediatric Orthopedic Minimal Invasive-Arthroscopic, Trauma Surgery at the Regensburg University Hospital, Germany. He was also a Consultant of Orthopedic & Trauma Surgery, Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine – Tanta University, Egypt.

- (Revision and primary total knee and hip replacement using minimally invasive approaches and advanced navigated system, reconstructive acetabullaum, massive bone loss and peri-prosthetic fracture). Enabling early walking and rapid recovery; more than 3000 cases of arthroplasty including Geriatric / old age patients with high risk comorbidities.
- Complex fractures treatment: Major hip, pelvic, acetabullar, knee, shoulder, ankle and foot, complex fractures and surgeries. Using MIS techniques and percutaneous fixation for intra-articular complex fractures.
Revision Orthopedic and Trauma surgeries: Correction of failed previous operations, mal-united, non-united fractures (long bone and intra- articular), with special management of infected orthopedic cases with / or without bone loss using bone marrow cells techniques.
MIS, Arthroscopic procedures of Sport medicine: Primary and revision of ACL reconstruction, all-inside techniques of meniscal repair and sutures, sutureless repair of rotator cuff and labral lesion for shoulder, micro-fractures techniques of ankle cartilage lesion, percutaneous tendo-achilles repair.
Pediatric Orthopedic:Treatment of all types of fractures, shoulder (proximal humeral fracture ), fracture around elbow, and different fractures around hip and knee, ankle and foot, congenital deformities including foot deformities (club foot), hip deformities included DDH with pelvis and femoral osteotomies, deformities around knee (Genu valgus and Varus including malleable plate for epiphysiodesis).
Local intra-articular injection & infiltration of lumbar facet disease, lumbar nerve root and sacro-iliac joint pain. Using guided ultrasound injection (Day care Pain Treatment).
Metabolic bone diseases: Rickets, ostoemalacia, osteoporosis and management of osteoporotic fractures.
