One of the best Gastroenterologist if NOT THE BEST
Dr. Mazin is one of the most knowledgeable and empathetic doctors Ive ever met. While his schedule is often full which speaks volumes about the trust his patients place in him he always takes time to listen and ensure you feel heard and understood. Hes not only an expert in his field, but he also has a reassuring presence. When I first went to him, I was worried I might have colon cancer but I left feeling completely reassured, both by his explanation and his calm, confident manner. Ive seen some negative reviews, but honestly, they say more about the reviewer than the doctor. Some people move from one clinic to another, never satisfied, misunderstanding that a specialist like a gastroenterologist will naturally request similar tests for similar symptoms just as a general practitioner would request standard labs for most patients. Its important to note that Dr. Mazin is trusted by his peers, respected across the country, and is even loved by my children who actually ask to visit him because he makes them feel safe, even joking with them to ease their fear. Thats the mark of a truly great doctor. We appreciate Dr. Mazin deeply as a family. He treats patients as people, not just lab results. Its unfortunate that some platforms allow unfounded criticisms especially when UAE law now protects doctors from defamatory or baseless remarks. If he werent so gracious, Dr. Mazin would have every right to take legal action. But his professionalism rises above. Highl for years we know him

Is this post a paid ad? The final sentences feel like a threat to anyone not to leave a bad review? And seems like this post has been listed on behalf of him?

The regulations around reviews are tighter that the regulations around ensuring doctors are providing proper medical care - that is wild.

Please find yourself a good gastro doctor
If you have something simple/very straight forward - a mild stomach bug or a small dose of food poisoning, that may be within his expertise and he may be able to cope with some very minor ailments. Albeit I would recommend making sure he is closely supervised. I would also recommend flagging if you feel at all uncomfortable. For anything more, please make sure you find yourself the best possible care. There are some decent gastroenterologists about who operate with a level of competence - please, please do your research and find a good one.

The worst experience I had with a doctor
Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Dr. Mazin. He might be a good doctor but when it comes to service and treating patients? I have seen anything like it before. I went to see him even before my scheduled appointment time and got out ALSO before my appointment time. As soon as I left I remembered an important question to ask him so I nicely asked the nurse if I could go back for 2 minutes and ask him the question. She immediately refused but I insisted to go back since it was not the next patients time yet + I came from a long distance to meet him!! She went back to ask him and he still refused knowing it was still my time!!! I tried asking many times and even asked the patients waiting if I could go for a minute before them and they kindly agreed. BUT HE STILL REFUSED! Im sure he is a very good doctor who respects patients time but one thing I know for sure is that he did NOT respect my time and didnt have any empathy nor sympathy which is the most important trait in a doctor.

Rude and arrogant
I was referred to Dr Aljabiri at Mediclinic Parkview Dubai. He is an arrogant, self-righteous and rude. He does not ask appropriate questions to ascertain complete and accurate information resulting in poor decisions. His sense of humour is predicated on making jokes at patients expense and humiliating or embarrassing them as a result. I had to change to another consultant after a recent colonoscopy after he embarrassed both me and my wife in front of his entourage. He lacks empathy, sensitivity and professionalism. He might be a highly qualified doctor but he has no self awareness and no idea how to treat people with respect and dignity.
