Introduction to Dr. Ali Choukair
Dr. Ali Mohamad Choukair has obtained his BSc from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, American University of Beirut, Lebanon. He later obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Medical School, American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Dr. Ali has done his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the same institution. He also has a ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) certification. Furthermore, Dr. Ali has a Norwegian Medical license.
Dr. Ali has over 5 years of experience as a Gastroenterologist. He started his professional journey with one year experience as hospitalist in Clemenceau Medical Center Affiliated with Johns Hopkins, Lebanon. After his time at Johns Hopkins he joined Social Medical Center in Beirut, Lebanon as a Gastroenterology Physician. Then, prior to joining NMC Healthcare, Dr. Ali was a Gastroenterology Senior Specialist at the Muscat Private Hospital in Muscat, Oman.
Dr. Ali has attended many courses both local and international since 2008. He has also done research work since 2001 and has many publications and presentation under his belt.
Dr. Ali is a member of the Lebanese Order of Physicians, Lebanese Red Cross and the Lebanese Gastroenterology Society.
Dr. Ali is fluent in Arabic, English and basic French.
