Dr. Abdul Hadi Jasim is our senior ENT, head and neck consultant surgeon here at Emirates Hospital. Formerly senior consultant ENT surgeon, University Hospital, Liverpool, and clinical lecturer in Liverpool Medical School, UK for more than 30 years. He is currently also a teacher & examiner for ENT post graduate diploma degree in Middlesex University London.Dr.Abdul Hadi has completed all his training across many hospitals in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Abdul Hadi is a world expert on snoring & sleep apnea and is a British Pioneer of cutting edge treatment for Snoring called injection Snoreplasty which is a simple clinic procedure done under local anesthesia with minimum or no pain and involves giving injection into the roof of the mouth and takes about 20 minutes.
He is also an expert on Vertigo and Tinnitus on which he researched and published extensively and was the first to introduce music in the management of Tinnitus .His other field of expertise include, bad breath, voice problems and complicated sinus throat and ear problems in children and adults .He has served as an expert advisor on many legal problems in Her Majesty courts of justice in the UK.His expertise also includes Endoscopic key hole and Laser surgery.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of London, Edinburgh, and Ireland making him one of the most qualified ENT Consultant in the region. He is the also the senior ENT Consultant advisor for the Lord Swinfen International Medical charity under the patronage of her Royal Highness Princess Ann of UK, which gives medical help to under privileged people across more than 45 countries.
He is also the ex-president of the South Medical Society in UK and the first president and founder of the British Association of Arabic Otolaryngologists. He is a member of the British ENT Association and the British Association of Rhinology’s, a member of the International Association of Pediatric Otolaryngologist, and member of the Emirates ENT Society.
He has published extensively in many International and English medical journals. He is the Principal organizer and regular speaker for many international, regional and national conferences. His professional philosophy is to practice effective, preventative,curative and safe as well as educational medicine by applying the most up to date and evidence based medicine which he has passed to his trainees and students from all over the world who worked with him in the UK.
