Dr Sultana received her PhD Degree in Clinical Psychology from Kings College, University of London in 1999. She has over 30 years of experience working in the mental health field. She is a firm believer in empowering families to effectively intervene with children who may be struggling with emotional and behavioural issues. Dr Sultana works easily with both adults and adolescents, and is highly-skilled in working with individuals, couples, and families. She has worked with Dubai Police for 21 years as a psychological researcher, Forensic Psychology lecturer in Dubai Police Academy. She also found and established Community Mental Health Centre for Dubai Police and become its Managing Director from 2003 to 2011. She is one of the pioneer clinical therapist in UAE and well known amongst the community as a passional practitioner in the field of clinical psychology who divides her time between clinical practice, training and consulting. In her clinical practice, she delivers cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Clinical Hypnotherapy and Past Life Regression Therapy to adult and adolescent clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship problems. She enjoys working with couples and families. She is enjoying many strong relationships in the community and within the juvenile and adult justice system, courts, the state health and human services system, and local school systems, women associations and business women councils. She is providing her services as an expert consultant in many governmental and non-governmental associations. Dr Sultana became a therapist to help people navigate their complex worlds in order to live a healthier, happier life. She believes in a holistic approach to health; that all components of ones’ life are interrelated, Body, Mind and Soul. Dr Sultana is the founder and owner of TABYEEN Centres for Psychotherapy and Research and Training, and also the founder and owner of Al Othman General Trading Company. She has written for The Women Magazines in UAE for more than 5 years, she worked for Dubai TV, and Aldafrah TV as a psychological TV show presenter. Her show “Selfie” was voted as a best TV show in 2015 on Aldafrah TV. Dr Sultana wants to live in a world filled with innovative businesses, thus she co-works through her company with many scientists in different parts of the world, designing and experimenting new ideas. When she’s not practicing therapy or writing or creating courses and workshops, you can find her in her Atelier painting or woodcarving. She believes the road to success is trying.
