Memorial Dental Clinic is headed by Dr. Atassi who received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1996, and his certificate in the specialty of Prosthodontics from the University of California, San Francisco in 2000. In June of 2000, Dr Atassi was awarded a Scholarship, and received further surgical and restorative training in implant dentistry at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, completing his fellowship in implant dentistry in September 2001. Dr. Atassi has held several teaching positions. At Harvard School of Dental Medicine, he was the director of the Oral Structure and Function course. He was responsible for the clinical supervision of dental students and served as a tutor for problem-based learning group tutorials. Dr Atassi was also as a full-time faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, teaching fixed, removable and implant prosthodontics, along with operative dentistry.
