Established in Abu Dhabi as an ordinary G.P. clinic in the year 1984, Ahalia now has pride of place as one of the best hospitals in the region. Even two decades ago, staying within the limits of available resources, the clinic has managed to carve a special place for itself on account of immaculate service. The aim was to bring international standards of health care within the reach of common man, designing its quality policy and objectives to suit the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, which has obviously elevated the hospital to an I S O certified company. The coveted JCI Accreditation was conferred to Ahalia Hospital after successful culmination of four-day survey during the year 2010. A small GP clinic in 1984 has now grown to become the AHALIA MEDICAL GROUP - a private organization with many medical centers, pharmacies and trading centers functioning under it. In Abu Dhabi we have a multi-speciality hospital and pharmacies that provide quality and affordable medical care to the people there. We have six satellite Medical Centers in the peripheral areas of Al Ain, Mirfa, Mussafah, Gayathi, Baniyas and Beda Zayed. Nearly 700 people, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other professionals like Chartered accountants, IT experts, Management personnel and Bio-medical Engineers. The medical professionals are recruited on the basis of their internationally accredited degrees and practice and from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds so as to cater to the cosmopolitan society of Abu Dhabi.
