Dr. Thamir Alkasab is a certified Uro-oncologist by The Princess Margaret Cancer center / University of Toronto / Canada. Dr. Alkasab was former Medical Director of Alzohoor Private Hospital in Baghdad, Iraq 2000. Dr. Alkasab gained his early Urology specialty training and residency in Alexandria University, Egypt from 2004-2009 followed by a completion of sub-specialty advanced training in Endo-Urology and Laparoscopy in 2010. Dr. Alkasab started his career and training as a Uro-Oncologist at princess Margaret Caner Centre / University Health Network / University of Toronto, Canada in 2011 and he gained a very comprehensive experience in diagnosing and managing (medically and surgically) Prostate cancer, Kidney cancer, Bladder Cancer and Testicular cancer. He has two fellowships in Uro-oncology (clinical and research) throughout his Canadian High level Training from 2011 till 2016. Dr. Alkasab is a highly trained surgeon on Robotic surgery of the prostate and PLND in Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one on of most famous cancer centres in the whole world of cancer institutions and of the North American Society of Uro-oncology SUO. Dr. Alkasab had authored, published and present many papers and topics in the field of early diagnosis and treatment of Prostate cancer (his main domain of interest) in the American and Canadian urological meetings in the last years.
