Dr. Smitha Annie Jacob secured her Bachelor’s degree from Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana, Punjab in 2004.


Following which, she undertook her Post Graduate training in Prosthodontics and Implantology from Meenakshi Ammal Dental College, Chennai. She was the University Gold medalist for Prosthodontics for the year 2009. Passionate about the field of dental implants, she completed a course in Implantology, conducted by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).


She was awarded for the “Best Paper Presentation” by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) in 2015. She is currently an Affiliate Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). She also has a Fellowship certificate in Implant dentistry from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). In addition to dental implants, her field of expertise also includes full mouth rehabilitation, teeth whitening, veneers, crowns and bridges, smile designing and dentures. She has many national and international publications in various peer-reviewed journals to her credit. Dr. Smitha is also member of the following:



  • Member of American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID)

  • Member of International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI)

  • Life member of Indian Prosthodontic Society (IPS)

  • Member of Karnataka State Dental Council (KSDC)
