My name is Hakan Akincibay and I?d like to introduce myself to you.

I grew up in Turkey, Istanbul which 98 % of my patients in UAE know and visited at least once. I am glad to born in a city that is adored by my patients. I have obtained my Bachelors of Science degree in Ankara, capital of Turkey. I have received my Ph.D. degree from Hacettepe University in Periodontology in 1987. After my residency in Hacettepe University, I have worked at Helsinki University, Institute of Dentistry as a visiting scientist. During my academic career in Hacettepe University, I have also received a Ph.D. degree in Medical Microbiology in 1998. As a Professor of Periodontology, I have conducted research and Ph.D. theses for my doctorate students at the department of periodontology. I have worked both as a clinical instructor and a lecturer for pre and post graduate students.

I am a member of the Turkish Society of Periodontology, European Federation of Periodontology, and Diplomat of International Congress of Oral Implantologists. I have been President of Turkish Dental Association, Commission on Education.

Along with my professional life, I like to do some other social activities. I love listening to classic music and reading. I sometimes cook under the supervision of my wife who is a great cook. Maybe this is the reason why I am visiting dieticians regularly. I am a long way Moto-biker who has visited many European countries and some parts of USA. I am also a scuba-diver fond of being in a place at the crossroad of many internationally known diving centers.

In Hakeem Dental Centre, we are like a family and I love my family. And you as a patient in HAKEEM will find a very friendly and caring atmosphere. I, as a part of this great family, am looking forward to keeping you comfortable and satisfied with each visit you have at Hakeem.
