Dr. K. Muhammed Ali achieved MBBS Degree from Calicut Medical College, Kozhikode in the year of 1977, Diploma in Tropical Medicine (DTM & H) PG Degree from the School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata in the year of 1981, MD General Medicine from Calicut Medical College, Kozhikode in the year of 2000 and he achieved DM (Cardiology) from Kottayam Medical College in the year of 2004. He has total 40 years Clinical Experience. He worked as a Senior Consultant at the Calicut Medical College and Hospital, Kozhikode and worked as Assistant Surgeon, Civil Surgeon and Deputy Director, Kerala Health Services. He has practiced in various hospitals with ICU, CCU and several emergency cases attended in various hospitals under Kerala Health Service and Medical Colleges, He acquired knowledge at in-house and outdoor patient practice of General Adult Medicine and Hospital Administration. He has retired from Calicut Medical College in March 31, 2010. After that, he worked as Specialist A Cardiologist in One of the leading Hospital in Sharjah (Zulekha) and start working with NMC Medical Centre, Al Nahda from 2015 onwards. He acquired an extended experience during the Cardiology PG DM period of three years with the extensive knowledge of clinical cardiology. His practiced areas are Cardiac Pacing, Cardiac Catheterization, CAG, Angioplasty & Stenting, Peripheral Angiography, Echocardiography, Treadmill, ASD & PDA closure. He has practiced with testing and nuclear imaging with the understanding of in-house and outdoor care of cardiac patients and has experience as the respective cardiac instructor at Calicut Medical College and Hospital, Kozhikode. During his PG period, he has published four research papers, such as: ? Cardiac involvement in Leptospirosis. ? Prognostic significance of metabolic syndrome in patients with acute ST elevation Myocardial Infarction. ? Trace minerals in Myocardial Infarction. ? Lipid Profile in long standing Diabetes and its effect on coronary arteries He achieved professional qualification as a Cardiologist and registered under Travancore Cochin Medical Council. He is a Member in Cardiology Society of India, Member in Cardiology Society of India (Emirates Chapter) and Life Member in Indian Medical Association.
