Dr. Mohamed Salem is a Consultant in Interventional Cardiology. He completed his US Board Certification of Internal Medicine in 1999, Cardiovascular Disease in 2002, Interventional Cardiology in 2003 and Endovascular Medicine in 2008. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Member of the Society of vascular medicine.
Prior to joining us, Dr. Salem was in clinical practice for 10 years in Pennsylvania, USA. He worked as an Associate in Cardiology and Endovascular Medicine at Guthrie Clinic. He has also worked as an Associate Director of Cardiac Catheterization Lab at St. Luke’s University Hospital & Network, both institutions are ranked by Thomson-Reuters among the Top 50 hospitals for cardiac and vascular care in the USA .
In addition to general cardiology, Dr Salem has strong experience with radial artery approach for cardiac catheterization, complex cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions, critical limb ischemia, cardiac pacemakers and venous disease.
