Dr. Maria Ines Diaz is an alum of one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America, the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. She graduated in 2001 from the College of Dentistry and has led a successful career ever since.
A second-generation dentist in her family, Dr. Maria was raised in an environment that emphasized personal duty and responsibility when it came to dental care. She has been led by these morals throughout her career, always focusing on effort, honesty, ethical practice, solidarity, and cooperation.
During her undergraduate studies, she volunteered a dentist at the “Manos Abiertas” (Open Hands) Foundation, devoted to aiding the less fortunate in the San Miguel neighborhood of Buenos Aires. After graduating, Dr. Maria worked for as a general dentist in the private sector with her father, and at the Campo De Mayo Military Hospital for seven years.
Since early on in her career, she has also felt a calling towards the aesthetic side of dentistry, resulting in the completion of her 2-year masters degree in Prosthodontics at the Catholic University of Buenos Aires.
Dr. Maria has been a member of the “Asociación Odontologica Argentina” since 2001, and the “American Dental Association” since 2010. She is passionate about new advancements and technologies in dentistry, and seeks out opportunities to further her continuing education. She attends courses and seminars to broaden her knowledge and stay at the forefront of her field.
Dr. Maria has received degree-equivalent licensing in two additional countries — the UAE and Oman. Following her licensing, she began practicing dentistry in Abu Dhabi in 2009. At AADC, she has demonstrated proficiency and excellence in tooth restoration, TMD disorders, oral rehabilitation, root canal treatment, periodontics, and smile design. Dr. Maria is dedicated to providing the highest standard of performance possible to her patients in every area of dental treatment.
