Dr Joy Dental Clinic, the premier dental clinics in the region, is happy to introduce our American Board-Certified Specialist Orthodontist, Dr Joseph Varghese, who works with the team of Specialist Orthodontists in our Umm Suqueim branch.
Dr Joseph Varghese earned an MS Degree and Clinical Certificate in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, USA in 1988 and has been in private practice as a Specialist Orthodontist for the past 28 years. He also has M.Orth. and F.D.S. from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK.
Being a Board Certified Orthodontist, he is one among the very small percentage of Orthodontists in the world who have met the rigorous standards demonstrating excellent clinical skills and knowledge as required for the American Board Certification in Orthodontics. This board certification is the only Orthodontic Specialty Board recognized by the American Dental Association and in affiliation with the American Association of Orthodontists.
He has presented many papers in Orthodontic Conferences around the world and published many articles in prestigious international orthodontic journals. Dr Joseph treats both adults and children with regular braces and invisible lingual braces.
He is also a passionate wildlife photographer.

I met Dr. Joseph Vargese 2 .5 years ago for my daughter who had protruding teeth. Dr. Vargese personally handled her case in the length of 1.5 years and we are extremely happy and satisfied with the results. We would highly recommend him for similar dental issues. Thank you Dr. - by Shiv Kumar

Before I start my Orthodontist treatment with Dr. Joseph Varghese, I have quite severe problem, as none of upper or lower teeth are aligned, and I never like to smile with teeth showing. Once I think that I was too old to do orthodontist plus the expense is usually too much to afford. Even though having a nice aligned teeth is my dream for years and I keep searching the clinic but didn't find anywhere which can offer me a best dentist at an affordable cost. One day, a friend recommended Dr Joseph to me, after the first consultation his professionalism, honesty and kindness are really impressed me, also surprisingly the cost is within my budget, so what a wonderful chance to have a change on my smile. Since then, I started my two-year treatment in Jan 2015 with Dr. Joseph. This week my braces finally can be taken off, and I flew from China to the clinic on my birthday day to do it, and the result just looks amazing and it proves that Dr. Joseph definitely is one of the best orthodontist dentists in the world and choosing Dr. Joy dental clinic is the best decision I ever made! Everything paid is so worthwhile. Special thanks to Dr. Joseph, without your state-of-art expertise and skills and patience, no way I can have such a cheerful smile on me now. Wish you all the best! Also thanks to Dr. Hannah and Dr. Rashida as well for your kind advise and took part in the last stage of my treatment in order to make my teeth look perfect. In addition to that, I experienced the best service and advanced facilities here as well, the management is very organized and all assistant and receptionist ladies are very nice, polite and helpful at all times. Doing my Orthodontic treatment with Dr Joseph was one of the best decisions I've made. He's very patient, methodical, and accommodating. My treatment took nine months and I am very happy with my smile! Special thanks to Dr Franco and his team for the painless and quick surgical extraction before I had my braces. One of the best and nicest dentists I've met. Thank you Dr Joy team for a very pleasant experience!
