Dr. Fernando Franco is a European Dentist, with over 25 years of experience. He was a Director of a famous Portuguese Dental Clinic – one of the first practices offering Cosmetic Dentistry and Implantology. During the last 18 years, he has performed well over 2000 Dental Implant surgeries using modern Implantology systems. Dr. Franco graduated in 1981 from the University of Medicine, Lisbon (Portugal) and received his Dental Degree in 1988 from the University of Dental Medicine of Lisbon (Portugal). From 1994, he devoted his time to oral rehabilitation, oral surgery and cosmetics. In 1996, Dr. Franco furthered his specialization by obtaining a Masters in Implantology – Surgery and Prosthodontics – from the International Team for Oral Implants (ITI) Foundation from Straumman (Switzerland) and Madrid (Spain).
Dr. Franco’s chief focus is on oral rehabilitation, cosmetics and oral surgery. He has participated in numerous dental meetings and conventions around the world and is a member of the Portuguese Dental Association.

Doing my Orthodontic treatment with Dr Joseph was one of the best decisions I've made. He's very patient, methodical, and accommodating. My treatment took nine months and I am very happy with my smile! Special thanks to Dr Franco and his team for the painless and quick surgical extraction before I had my braces. One of the best and nicest dentists I've met. Thank you Dr Joy team for a very pleasant experience!

I have just undergone a root canal treatment and wisdom teeth extraction with Dr. Franco and Dr. Prajakta and Dr. Ali the anaesthetist. I must say I was incredibly happy with the overall procedure. The staff were more than obliging and guided me every step of the way, as I would consider myself a nervous patient. I would like this opportunity to say that I you to the Dr. Joy clinic in Jumeirah and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering undergoing this procedure. - by Kate Mulhall

Great dentist surgery. I decided to change my dentist as I was not confident with my previous one. I was recommended Dr Joy and have visited the Jumeirah branch twice so far. A deep cleaning with the Hygienist Faith and my first stint of dental treatments with Dr Franco. Very impressed with both. Also, the reception team when you are arrive are very nice friendly and welcoming. Especially the blonde girl with the big round smiley face. - by michael bromley

I visited Dr Franco for a dental implant. He offered me a very personalized consultation at most; I felt he genuinely cared about about my health and myself as a person. He walked me through multiple scenarios and the corresponding treatments. He won my trust and when I came for the actual procedure a week later, he executed the procedure in a calm, professional and methodical manner. I had no idea a dental implant procedure could be so smooth and pleasant. I will carry out all my future procedures with Dr Franco.
