Dr. Anahita Salehi graduated from a 6-year Dental School education program in Tehran in 2002, achieving a D.D.S degree. She subsequently practiced general dentistry in a multispecialty clinic, which exposed her to a diverse number of multidisciplinary patient care cases.
Following this, she joined a trauma center with a general anesthesia facility giving her experience in the management of trauma cases and emergencies in dentistry in addition to treating epileptic patients under GA. After these experiences Anahita established a private
practice in partnership with another dentist. Her major focus in practice was in prosthodontics, removable orthodontics, management of TMD cases and minor surgical procedures.
After almost 6 years of active clinical dentistry experience, Dr Salehi started her postgraduate program studies in Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Boston University. She graduated with MSD and CAGS degrees in Orthodontics. During this time, Dr.Salehi developed an interest in researching different alloys used in Orthodontics and has presented the research findings at international conferences.
After graduation Dr.Salehi worked as a specialist Orthodontist, clinical Instructor and lecturer at Hamdan bin Mohammed college of dental medicine (Previously known as Dubai School of Dental Medicine). In that center she took care of her own patient plus she supervised the clinical activities of the post-graduate residents in the orthodontic department taking care of the treatment process of their patients. Added to these she also contributed as a lecturer in the orthodontic field for Orthodontic residents as well as pediatric residents.
Currently Dr.Salehi is working at American dental clinic as a clinician, taking care of Orthodontic patients at all ages.
Dr.Salehi is a member of American association of Orthodontists, European Orthodontic society and World federation of Orthodontists.
