Dr. Abdul-Razzak Alamir obtained his medical degree from Damascus University, faculty of medicine in 1997. After completing his Internal Medicine Residency at the Northeast Ohio Medical University program at St Elizabeth hospital, he obtained his American Board Diploma in Internal Medicine in 2003 and he was elected for Chief Medical Resident position in 2004.

Dr. Abdul-Razzak Alamir then completed his Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders fellowship at University of Florida at Jacksonville, USA, becoming a diplomat of the American board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Disorder in 2010.

Prior to joining NMC Dr. Alamir worked as a consultant Endocrinologist in USA for 6 years.
