Introduction to Dr. Abdelhakim A. El-Gheriani
Dr. Abdelhakim A. El-Gheriani completed his postgraduate training in Orthodontics at the University of Colorado, USA, in 2006, after earning his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh, USA, in 2002.
Dr. El-Gheriani also holds a Master of Science (MS) in Human Genetics from the University of Pittsburgh, a Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from Benghazi University and a Master of Science in Dental Medicine (MSD) from the University of Colorado.
Dr. El-Gheriani is a quality orientated clinician with a passion for providing his patients with the best results in the manner suited for them. He is published in the prestigious Journal of Dental Research as well as the American Journal of Orthodontics and has been invited as a guest speaker to several international dental conferences.
He served on the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh and more recently was Assistant Professor of Orthodontics and Clinic Director at the European University College, Dubai.
Dr. El-Gheriani is involved with all aspects of specialty orthodontic treatments, ranging from early/interceptive treatment, comprehensive treatment and orthognathic surgery cases. He also offers his patients, traditional braces, self-ligating braces (Damon), lingual braces (Incognito), clear aligners (Invisalign) as well as adjunct devices for TMD/jaw joint problems and sleep apnea.
He is licensed in the USA, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Libya, Dubai Healthcare City and is registered at Mediclinic City Hospital, Dubai.
Dr. El-Gheriani adores reading, spending time with his family, jogging and keeping abreast of all the latest innovations in orthodontics.

A great relief to finally finish my treatment plan. I’ve had problems with a cross bite and crooked teeth all my life. It was a big decision to get fixed braces at my age but so glad I did.
