Dr. Tabari has over 25 years of extensive experience in the field of Education and Educational Psychology across the UK and the Middle East. Dr. Tabari obtained her doctoral degree from University College London (UCL) in 2012 with a focus on school development and reform, a master?s degree in Educational Psychology from UCL in 1994, and bachelor?s degree in Psychology from UCL in 1987.
Dr. Tabari is also a fully qualified teacher (PGCE in 1989) with classroom practice, amongst others, in inner city schools in London. She has worked with a vast array of schools and institutions in the UK and the Gulf region. Her experience covers all aspects of child and education psychology work. She has led and contributed to a number of working groups on matters such as child protection and processes on how to most effectively address the needs of children with special educational needs.
Dr. Tabari has extensive experience in case management leading multi professional teams in highly complex cases. She has developed and monitored the implementation of remedial, educational and developmental programmes for children aged 3 to 19 years. An engaged member of the community, Dr. Tabari has led on professional teacher training initiatives, has been invited to present at conferences and had regular appearances on TV.
Dr. Tabari?s work as a teacher and educational and psychology management professional in the UK and the Gulf region has given her an international and multi-cultural expertise. This vast exposure has enabled Dr. Tabari to gain in-depth insight and knowledge of various cultures and school curricula thus enabling Dr. Tabari to provide innovative and inspired solutions to the families, children and the stakeholders she supports.
