I have never in my entire life met a pediatritian like Dr Hala. To begin with, she’s extremely sweet and my son loved her from the first visit although he’s not the kind of child that likes people he meets for the first time, but he was so comfortable with her. Moreover, she’s so caring and professional, she takes her time checking my baby from tip to toes in a way that doesn’t irritate him, she actually makes him feel as if she’s playing with him. She also spends enough time with us to explain tge details of his growth and to discuss any concern that we might have, and she explains to us what should be done at every stage for his motor and mental skills development. Thanks to her advice, my son is achieving milestones way before the average age for each milestone. More importantly, although she has a lot of patients, she never forgets a detail about my son and she makes us feel more confident and relaxed about raising our first baby. I cannot thank her enough, she is really the best

 Dr. Hala received her medicine doctorate in Pediatric & Neonatology since 2005 and was appointed as Pediatric and PICU Consultant and Clinical Lecturer in Pediatric Intensive Care in faculty of medicine, Cairo University (2007). She also prominently held a position of Clinical Associate professor of Pediatrics and Neonatology in Sharjah University, UAE (2011).  


Dr. Hala Marouf, is a highly trained Pediatric consultant with over 20 years of experience in Pediatrics & Neonatology- from General pediatric care to intensive care by providing clinical skills to identify and treat early potential serious cases.


She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Cairo University, Egypt (1993). And continued her post graduate masters studies in Pediatric & Neonatology (1998).


She received her medicine doctorate in Pediatric & Neonatology since 2005 and was appointed as Pediatric and PICU Consultant and Clinical Lecturer in Pediatric Intensive Care in faculty of medicine, Cairo University (2007). She also prominently held a position of Clinical Associate professor of Pediatrics and Neonatology in Sharjah University, UAE (2011). 


Dr Hala, did her Pulmonary and Asthma in Children training in American Austrian Foundation, Salzburg, Austria (2007) and her Neonatal Intensive Care Residential Training in, Gasilini International Institute. Genova, Italy (2006).


Significant expertise and preference in Pediatric pulmonology and children’s asthma. Currently a Pediatric, NICU and PICU Consultant on in Al Zahra Private Hospital

  • March 2007 till present Pediatric and PICU Consultant and Lecturer in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Cairo University Children’s Hospital, Egypt.



  • January 2013 till March 2015, Pediatric, NICU and PICU Consultant in Medcare Hospital, Dubai.



  • January 2011 till January 201, Pediatric, NICU and PICU acting as Consultant and Assistant professor in Al Baraha Hospital, Dubai.



  • June 2009 till September 2010, Pediatric, NICU and PICU Consultant in Canadian Specialist Hospital, Dubai.



  • Sept 2008 till May 2009, Pediatric, NICU and PICU Consultant and Lecturer in Gulf Medical University and Hospital, Ajman.



  • May 2002 till Sept 2004, Member of Cardio-Thoracic Surgical Team, in Pediatric Cardio-thoracic Intensive Care Unit, Cairo University Children’s Hospital, Egypt.

  • Provide a full spectrum of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine services.



  • Well baby visits, and developmental assessments, vaccines for routine care and travel.



  • Attending delivery (routine delivery care & resuscitation) & high risk delivery.

  • Management of PICU sick patients, complicated cases with multi-organ system failure including mechanical ventilation, Peritoneal dialysis and post-operative care.



  • Management of post-operative cardiothoracic and open heart surgeries.



  • Management of post-operative neurosurgical cases.
